School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)
The School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) offers courses that are academically rigorous and experiential learning based, with a well qualified and professionally engaged faculty who are able to guide students in the development of their skills towards scientificallly oriented professions.
All students will be served by courses offered to fulfill general education requirements and will meet foundation standards while gaining an understanding of the scientific process. To these ends and in service of our local community, STEM engages in community outreach, providing the expertise of faculty and students to address local issues. Furthermore the school, using scientic data gathering and analysis techniques, obtains information which is then used to address community-related problems and guide community development policy.
