IMPORTANT ADVISORY: To All Staff and Students

The Excelsior Community College wishes to confirm that operations will resume normal operations as of tomorrow (Thursday, November 2, 2023). A team of Structural Engineers have made the necessary assessments and have given assurance that the facilities across ECC’s campuses are cleared for occupancy and use. The Excelsior Community College wishes to thank the team of Structural Engineers involved in the assessment process. We also wish to thank our students and members of staff for their patience as we return to normalcy. Age Animo!

ECC Road Tour 2023 Heads to St Andrew Parish THURSDAY JULY 27, 2023!

The ECC Road Tour 2023 is coming to a town near you! Having already made stops in Kingston (HWT, Crossroads, Downtown); and in St. Thomas (Morant Bay), the Road Tour continues Thursday, July 27, 2023 in the parish of St. Andrew. The team will be making stops in Constant Spring, Stony Hill, Golden Spring and Lawrence Tavern), so spread the word and look out for the ECC-branded bus and team members. See you on the road!!!!!!!!

ECCSONAH: The Top Performing School of Nursing

CAPTION: Nurse of the Year, Shantal Remekie (left) and Student Nurse of the Year, Bobbie-Ann Collins. We would like to congratulate two of our Year 3 students; Miss Bobbie-Ann Collins and Mr Derron Jackson, who represented the Excelsior Community College School of Nursing and Allied Health in this year’s Student Nurse of the Year competition, organized by the Nurses’ Association of Jamaica. Miss Collins, was crowned Student Nurse of the Year, as she was the top performing student of all the schools of nursing that competed in the competition. Mr. Jackson on the other hand, placed second in public speaking, which was a part of the competition. Also of note, is that Nurse Shantal Remekie, a pass student of ECCSONAH, walked away with the prestigious Nurse of the Year trophy.  Special thanks to Mr Jonathan Adeoye and Mrs Sandra Morris, who prepared the students for the competition, and Mrs. Tamara McFarlane, who coached the students in Public Speaking.
