Associate of Applied Science in Architectural & Construction Technology

The Architectural and Construction Technology programme is a two-year Applied Associate  Degree with a total of 75 credits that seeks to provide individuals with theoretical, technical, and vocational knowledge and skills that will lead to employment and further studies in the  field of the built environment. 

The courses will enable the graduate to work in related areas or continue toward a Bachelor’s degree in an associated field of technology such as Construction Management, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Land Surveying, etc. The Building Technician graduating with a CCCJ’s Applied Associate of Science Degree in Architectural and Construction Technology will be able to undertake work requiring a knowledge of drafting, construction materials, mechanical and structural systems, estimating, site and building design fundamentals and presentation  methods, building codes and specifications, and computer applications.
