Engineering is one of the fastest growing areas of study within the Caribbean; therefore, the Associate of Science Degree in Engineering is an effective programme for providing students with entry level qualifications in the field.
It is an area of study that allows students to make real life applications of technology and elements of the physical world to solve problems.
Strong written and verbal communication and etiquette in a formal business environment.
Public speaking and presentation abilities
Leadership qualities for team environments.
Awareness of globalization and cross-cultural issues.
Persons with industry experience seeking certification

• High school graduates interested in careers in Engineering
Full Time/ Part Time /Weekend– 2 years
To matriculate into the programme applicants must fulfill one of the following:
1. Pass at least five (5) subjects at CSEC/GCE/SSC including English Language, Mathematics, Physics or Engineering Science and two other technical and or science related subjects, with grade I, II or III / A, B, or C. Grade III pass in CSEC must be after June 1998
2. Mature Student Entry/Prior Learning Assessment. Applicants falling in this category must be over twenty-five (25) years, with a minimum of five (5) years experience in a specialized area of the industry. Applicants will be accepted based on an assessment of their prior learning. Each applicant must submit an academic portfolio for individual assessment. NB: At least a semester prior to attending.
3. Achievement of a 2.8 GPA in the Pre-Engineering Course (PEC)

Electrical Engineering Science Mathematics 1 – Calculus Computers in Engineering Engineering Physics I Electrical Workshop Elective | Mathematics II – Calculus Engineering Graphics Chemistry for Engineers Engineering Statics Specialization Elective Industry Experience |
