The Certificate in Phlebotomy programme prepares graduates for the position of phlebotomist in
a blood bank, laboratory or any other patient care facility. Graduates shall be capable of
functioning in all primary healthcare facilities including private home care.

Learners and graduates will be able to:

Standard Matriculation
A minimum of three (3) passes in subjects at CSEC or GCE O-Level; English ‘A’ (CSEC) or
English language (GCE), mathematics and a science subject preferably biology or its equivalent.
