This programme is designed to target persons who do not satisfy the full matriculation requirements for entry into the Associate or Bachelor’s Degree Programme. It seeks to prepare persons with the knowledge, values and skills for generalist social work practice that emphasizes service to community, social justice and respect for diversity.

Postgraduate diplomas allow students to study something new or build on the skills and knowledge already gained during their first degree. In the current climate, more and more graduates are opting to pursue postgraduate study for the following reasons:

Successful completion of this programme allows you to continue studies at the associate degree level. (Conditions apply)
To matriculate into this programme, applicants must fulfill one of the following:
1. Passes in three (3) CSEC/GCE/SSC subjects including English Language with Grades I, II or III/ A, B or C. For CSEC, only Grade III passes which were awarded after June 1998 will be accepted.
2. An approved certificate or diploma from a duly accredited institution/programme.
3. Mature students (25 years and over). These applicants will be accepted based on an assessment of relevant previous work experience.
4. Equivalent qualification as determined by the CCCJ.
