Who may enter?
Applicants must have formally completed Grade 11, be 16–18 years old and meet the entry profile for the appropriate pathway or complete the required diagnostic assessment.
Continue Grades 12 and 13 in ECC's supportive college environment while working towards a recognised academic, occupational or vocational qualification.
The Sixth Form Pathways Programme is a Ministry of Education initiative that allows eligible students who have completed Grade 11 to continue Grades 12 and 13 through an approved institution.
At ECC, your pathway is the route into college. The qualification you earn depends on the programme you select and the pathway for which you are eligible.

Eligibility is for two years immediately following Grade 11. A student who applies after Grade 12—or one year after completing Grade 11—is eligible for only one year in SFPP.

Complete a recognised academic or occupational qualification. An eligible ECC Associate Degree can provide a clear route into the related Bachelor’s degree through the college’s 2+2 model.
Learn by doing, gain industry-recognised competence and prepare to contribute from day one.

Earn occupational certification and strengthen workplace readiness. Continue to the next available NVQ-J/CVQ level, or enter a related OAD after meeting its requirements.
Build confidence, strengthen essential foundations and discover the practical ability that can open your next door.

Leave with stronger Mathematics and English foundations, practical occupational competence and employability skills. Progress to further skills training, Pathway II, a qualifying OAD or entry-level employment.
Strengthen Mathematics and English, earn occupational certification, enter the workforce or progress into an eligible Associate Degree. From an ECC Associate Degree, the 2+2 model can provide a route into the related Bachelor's degree.

It is with a heart full of gratitude that I welcome you to The EXED Academy, a member of the Centre of Professional Development and Continuing Education (CPDCE).
Our early college programmes are significantly subsidized enabling high school graduates to access scholarships aligned to the most suitable pathway.
Education represents a foundation pillar to the holistic development of a person. On this premise access to higher education opportunities is a priority for the team at the EXED Academy. Efficiency in service, alignment with quality standards and monitoring systems are in place to ensure that the stakeholders can observe a return on investment. The Ministry of Education and Youth (MoEY), parents, guardians, facilitators and most centrally the learners are critical to the output of an educational investment.
The learning experience of the students of the EXED Academy will be significantly impacted through intentional personal development, co-curricular and academic pursuits. The unit engenders a positive and nurturing environment for those that are a part of this school community.
