PHILOSOPHY AS A MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSION
As a mental health professional and PhD candidate in Educational Psychology at the Northern Caribbean University, I am deeply rooted in principles that guide my practice and define my unwavering commitment to those I am privileged to serve. My professional philosophy is grounded in the belief that experience holds value only when it catalyzes transformation, restoration, and positive change. I am committed to patient-centered care that listens deeply, responds empathetically, and honours each individual’s story, culture, and spiritual values. Guided by Christian ethics, I advocate for client autonomy and empowerment, walking alongside them in love, service, and grace.nCultural competence, servant leadership, and a heart for advocacy shape my mission: to support lasting change and reflect Christ’s light in every aspect of care.
