Philosophy as a Mental Health Professional
I believe that every student has the capacity to succeed when equipped with the right tools, strategies, and  support. My work is grounded in a culturally responsive, strengths-based, trauma-informed philosophy that nurtures student agency, mental well-being, and academic resilience.
Approach to Counselling
I use an integrative approach that blends solution-focused coaching, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, academic coaching, and cognitive-behavioural strategies. I help students clarify their goals, develop self-regulation skills, and navigate both academic and personalchallenges.  My coaching is also trauma-informed and guided by a strong understanding of the psychological demands of learning.
