College Closure Notice – Emancipation and Independence Holidays

Please be advised that Excelsior Community College will be closed to the public on the following dates in observance of the national holidays:

  • Friday, August 1, 2025 – Emancipation Day

  • Wednesday, August 6, 2025 to Friday, August 8, 2025 – Independence Day observance

The College will reopen on Monday, August 11, 2025.

Please note that online classes will continue as scheduled on August 7 and 8 for lecturers and students still engaged in summer semester classes.

We take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Emanci-pendence break.
