This programme is both practical and theory-based. It is highly analytical, drawing upon various disciplines such as Communication, Information Technology, Data Analysis, Accounting and Costing. The entire course of study is further enhanced by a vast range of mathematical tools made available up to the intermediate level and broadened by the inclusion of Risk Management, Insurance, and Lending (Banking).
The Associate Degree in Mathematics and Finance is offered over the usual two (2) years but students have a maximum of five (5) years in which to complete their studies. Students are also required to pursue all the courses in this programme.

General
Five (5) CSEC / GCE subjects including English Language* and Mathematics* with grade I, II or III/ A, B or C. Note that a grade III pass in CSEC must be after June 1998 or any equivalency recognized by the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ).
*Equivalency courses available to persons who do not have required CSEC/GCE/SSC pass in these subjects.

Flexible enrollment that allows you to further your education with whatever qualification you have in hand. ECC will create a Personal Development plan for each student to achieve their educational goals.
Mature Entry (all programmes)
Candidates over the age of 25 years who do not have the academic qualification required will need to have completed at least five (5) years industry experience and should submit a portfolio.
