The Excelsior Community College (ECC) Faculty of Business Management prepares the future Managers and Entrepreneurs of Jamaica in a unique way. The blend of strong theoretical foundation and practical work, is one main feature of the various programmes offered that provides the best preparation to ECC graduates for success in the global workplace.

The Faculty is an amalgamation of the School of Business Management and Entrepreneurial Studies and the School of Tourism, Hospitality and Entertainment Management. This merger is as a result of commonalities in:

• Programme offerings
• Professional Outcomes
• Methodologies and Techniques
• Practical applications

The Faculty of Business Management ( which covers the following areas: Marketing, Management, Banking and Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Computing and Hospitality Management) endeavors to encourage students’ creativity and develop their problem solving skills, to enable them to excel throughout their professional careers.

In addition, the faculty provides lecturing and tutoring services  to other schools/departments. These include CSEC/CAPE Accounting and Law to Pre-University students, Fundamentals of Accounting and Introduction to Management to students of the Schools of; Library Studies, Tourism, Hospitality and Entertainment Management and Tourism and also Computer Studies.
